Editing FTP accounts | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This article will
guide you through the process of editing FTP accounts. You can change
passwords, permissions and the FTP folder. You must first login to HELM control panel. Once you enter the control panel you will be presented with a window with the options shown below: ![]() Click on Domains and you will be presented with the following page: ![]() Click on your domain name as shown on the illustrations above. You will now be presented with a new window with the options shown below: ![]() Next click on the FTP Accounts button as illustrated above. You will now be presented with a new window similar to the one shown below: ![]() Here you will see a list of FTP accounts you currently have. To edit a FTP account, click the FTP account you wish to edit as shown above. You will now be presented with a new window similar to the one shown below. ![]() Edit any part of the email account as you see fit 1- Enter the password you want to set for this FTP account 2- Re-enter the same password as a confirmation 3- Check or uncheck. Set the read from FTP folder permissions. 4- Check or uncheck. Set the write from FTP folder permissions. 5- Set the FTP folder. Click the Select Folder button to choose a
folder. If left blank, the root folder is chosen as the FTP folder.Click on the Save button for changes to this FTP account to take place.
